A group of friends are gathering to celebrate the 10th wedding anniversary of the hosts Charley and his wife Myra. Charley’s friend and lawyer Ken and his wife Chris have arrived to find Charly bleeding in the bedroom and Myra nowhere to be found. In order to protect the reputation of Charley who happens to be the “Deputy Mayor of New York” they must get “the story” straight before others arrive. Confusion ensues and miscommunications arise as the evening spins off in this classic farce by Neil Simon
